A recent AI project was an Inspection Model for returning machines: the AI model detects which machines are in the rotation process in the depot and prioritises the machine based on:
- Demand – is this machine in high demand?
- Machine Condition – general cleaning, servicing, minor / serious repair.
- Inventory Status – Star and colour status rating provide service staff with an easy to use list of machine jobs.
- Results: Improving data feedback, higher machine availability, less machine service costs and improved customer loyalty.
The flow of data received every day is allowing Renta to plan with greater accuracy machines lifecycles, providing higher availability and improved customer experience.
