Trackunit system release
Creation date: 29 June 2011
|
The Trackunit fleetmanagement system has been updated with new functions. You can find a more detailed description on this page and we have put a similar PDF for download. We hope this will help you get even more out of your Trackunit solution.
New service module functions:
- You can now add several service plans to one unit. This gives you such features as separate service management for crane and engine.
- When you add or edit a service, you can forward a service report and service document in a service e-mail.
- If you are a service provider, you can now allow the end customer to see the full service log when adding or editing a service.
- You can also manage services based on the unit’s ignition (input 2). To use this new function, your user account must be set up to show hours based on the ignition (input 2).

New idling report: (for vehicles only)
- A new form of report has been added under the Reports tab. It provides full details of the unit’s activities for a whole month including daily running, stop and idling times, plus number of trips and kilometres covered. The report is available in beta version.
See unit status:
- Hold the mouse over a unit on the map or on the left side of the screen to see its technical status. A checkbox named “Status” will appear under the serial number. Click on the box to see status of GPS and GSM quality, power supply and backup battery:

IMPORTANT: This only works for units with serial numbers over 200,000.
New map material from Microsoft Bing Maps:
- Microsoft has announced the release of new map material on 6 July 2011, giving a new and improved appearance. These changes will not affect system functionality.

| Apart from the new functions, we have also improved minor elements of the system. |
